I Stan the Prince

Angela is mortified when her cringey fanfic about the dethroned Prince Rayburn is published behind her back and becomes a wildly popular bestseller. Not only is it super embarrassing, but the book gets her in trouble with the current imperial family, who now want her head for treason! The mis-adventures of Angela and Prince Rayburn have me laughing every week. As of the time of this posting, we are 66 episodes in and they STILL aren’t an official couple but every thing they do is couple-like. zoo sun’s artwork is gorgeous and be on the look-out for cameos of little mice in the background of every episode.

In the Clear Moonlit Dusk

In the Clear Moonlit Dusk

Yoi Takiguchi has long legs, a deep voice, and a handsome face…in other words, Yoi is such a good-looking guy that most people don’t notice or care that she is, in fact, a girl. Indeed, she’s had the nickname “Prince” as long as she can remember. That is, until she met Ichimura-senpai…the only person who’s really seemed to see her for herself. To her surprise, she’s not sure how to handle this new relationship, especially when her newfound friend is a prince himself (and a guy prince, at that). You Should See Me in a Crown

Liz Lighty has always believed she’s too black, too poor, too awkward to shine in her small, rich, prom-obsessed midwestern town. But it’s okay — Liz has a plan that will get her out of Campbell, Indiana, forever: attend the uber-elite Pennington College, play in their world-famous orchestra, and become a doctor. But when the financial aid she was counting on unexpectedly falls through, Liz’s plans come crashing down . . . until she’s reminded of her school’s scholarship for prom king and queen. There’s nothing Liz wants to do less than endure a gauntlet of social media trolls, catty competitors, and humiliating public events, but despite her devastating fear of the spotlight she’s willing to do whatever it takes to get to Pennington. The only thing that makes it halfway bearable is the new girl in school, Mack. She’s smart, funny, and just as much of an outsider as Liz. But Mack is also in the running for queen. Will falling for the competition keep Liz from her dreams . . . or make them come true?

A fun sapphic story of two young women in high school trying to grow and understand who they really are. Leah’s queer YA novels are the kinds of books that I wish were around when I was a teen.

This is a beautiful story of losing your first love and regaining it when you least expect it. The heartache and joy that Hazel and Mari go through pulls at the heart strings! And the very end of the book had me in tears.

Sasaki and Miyano

Sasaki and Miyano

It all started like a typical old-school boys’ love plotline—bad-boy senior meets adorably awkward underclassman, one of them falls in love, and so on and so forth. But although Miyano is a self-proclaimed boys’ love expert, he hasn’t quite realized…he’s in one himself. Which means it’s up to Sasaki to make sure their story has a happily ever after…!

  • Creator: Shou Harusono
  • Publisher: Yen Press

This series is so SWEET!!! Sasaki is so flirtatious and Miyano is so oblivious. I love their bonding over shared BL manga.

And there you have it. I hope that if you haven’t read any of these titles that you give them a try and let me know what you think. Also, feel free to share any titles that get you in the mood for Valentine’s Day.
